Just got the email yesterday that GALA Chorus convention 2K8 is going to be in Miami. Better start packing! :-)

Dunno... I'm still beyond pissed at GALA for demoting non-US choruses in what had to be the most poorly planned & executed series of announcements ever. I've sent a letter and e-mails asking for clarification of their new policy but have yet to hear a response.

There's still lots of time still between now & 2008 so perhaps the situation may change yet again.

Perhaps mercifully, I don't know a thing about any of this! Is this on the chorus listserv? (I subscribed to it for ONE day about three years ago at bearfuz urging, but it was too much all at once, and went away).

But yes, 3 years is a long way off!

Did you see Larry White's note that if you want to get a hotel room for the Montreal OutGames next year, you can get it $70CN CHEAPER by not getting the OutGames hotel group rate???? What's wrong with that picture?
