If the Dallas square dance club ever became active again and hosted a convention, here is the place to do it!

Both flying back and forth to Montreal, we landed in Dallas, passing over this enormous resort hotel/convention center both times. I think Grapevine, TX is about 30 minutes outside of downtown Dallas...isn't the NAME in itself just perfect?

It's a nice hotel inside as well with a large atrium. They are quite proud of their big things in Texas.

I have never been there, but I have been to their properties in Nashville and Orlando. I enjoyed both of the resorts, and they are the perfect place for a trade show convention.

I was a bit tongue-in-cheek about that being a spot for a gay convention, but the location is good...just a few minutes north of DFW airport. And what kind of "trade" were you talking about (evil grin firmly in place).

Actually, a convention in Orlando could be interesting ...

But I agree that Dallas would be a good location. Lotsa cute guys there on Bear411 and BearFront.
