Is it madness?

Just reading about handlebear update via Scott...everything else seems so trivial compared to just maintaining a day-to-day existence. I can only send my best to him and Scott.

Tonight I succeeded in giving a full breadth of square dancing to the Wilde Bunch...trying to count the number of tips I called between 6pm and 9:15pm... Lessee...3 long C1 tips, then 5 beginner/new class teaching/review tips, 2 Mainstream continuation tips, 3 Plus tips, and 2 Advanced tips. Would have been more, but Jim carried the announcements on about 10 minutes. Breaks were limited to 3 minutes, if that, most of which was in the squaring up process. I didn't need to pee tonight, which would have crimped more time from the schedule.

Surely we're the only club, gay or otherwise, that has five programs packed into just a few hours on a weeknight. I know Phoenix has their Sunday marathon of beginners through C2. Thankfully, Kris J has the C2 as a separate entity on Wednesday nights (another thing I had to let slide again because of chorus and the c/w lessons).

The 2 full hours I have on Wednesdays to simply teach a couple of c/w dances seems like a breath of heaven.

Surely the WB board must be discussing this quandry. And my 'fee' has been the same since 1991. Sigh...
